"When my work ends up in an exhibition, a museum, there's always a problem of knowing where to put it. Is it drawing? Is it painting? Is it photography? Is it sculpture? Documentation? I think it's a good thing that people are still confused on defining what I do and where to place it. It means it's new and they don't have a class or a box for it yet…like a bone in the desert is something that you expect to find, but not in the form of a drawing."
